I kept thinking "I guess Max is mad at them for accidentally not inviting him to their moving in together party!" hee hee And Max's crack about finally you two get here, made me think they're late to crime scenes a little too often for Max's taste...because they're living together...and thus having the sex...hence Danny's hair ;)
