Been Awhile

Uh, so it's Been Some Time since I've posted on here. Probably gonna spend some time updating everything, so if something disappears, that's just me cleaning things up. I've had this thing for a Long Time and I imported from lj, so there might be some things I clean up to reflect now-me. I might use this space to talk about SPN, Critical Role, Star Wars, etc. Possibly adventures in Grad School.
If anyone out there is still around, come say hi!

Apr. 22nd, 2012 10:17 pmSooo, this is the digital painting I've been working on since yesterday. There's a lot wrong with it (the face is too fat) but I'm pretty content with it. Okay no, that's a lie, but I'm content enough to post it. It shows clear improvement, and I could spot my own mistakes, so there's improvement there, too, and I'll be able to steer clear of those problems next go 'round.
So yes, River Song, who I love. The reference I used was from the scene in 'Good Man Goes To War' where the Doctor finds out who she is. ♥

Okay, so this started out as a comment-and-a-half-fic for ms_notebook for the Five Acts Round Six.
The prompt was 'seeing the dead.'
That fic is here.
I was going to just tweak it a bit, and post it for everyone, but then I started that, and it turned into a like..Four-hour writing session wherein I ended up with this, and then went to bed. So I figured I would post this version here, too!

Concerning Big Bang Challenges
Mar. 29th, 2012 08:01 pmI really want one that like pairs authors, and artists, and mixers right at the beginning, and they work together over however-long to create the piece. Like an actual collaboration, full-stop.
I just think it would be amazing to work through all parts of the creative process with the people who are making things for the story you are writing. I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy?
I mean. I'm definitely crazy, but argh I don't know! I just want it.
(if this already exists, I have not found it)
Also, DOES THERE EXIST A SHERLOCK BIG BANG?
Because I want one. I don't need one, but I WANTS IT, OKAY?
Or like. A Sherlock fic exchange? I WOULD SO BE ON THAT.
Thoughts? Ideas? TALK TO ME I'M BORED.

Y'know, this whole 'HEY LET'S WRITE A FIC FOR A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FANDOM WHILE YOU'RE TRYING TO WRITE THIS' thing? Yeah, it should not happen. No, srsly, I was writing a h50 fic, and then ended up writing this one write in the middle of it. Literally.
It definitely should not result in 3k+ words of fic that is essentially purely self-indulgent reunion!fic. Or y'know, something like that. I'm not sure, actually, but it happened, and it's now 3:33am, so I figured I would just post it, and whatever.
I haven't the faintest idea if this characterization is right, so there's that. Uh. Right. 4am. Posting this, and going to bed.
No beta, or brit-pick. If you see any glaring mistakes, let me know?
