I actually have several answers to this, for obvious reasons. I don't think its possible to choose just one.
First, I would say the Federation. I would love to join Starfleet, probably engineering or science track, and explore the galaxy. It doesn't even have much to do with the characters of the series, as much as it has to do with the idea of being out there, meeting new races and being a primarily peaceful exploration team. I think, if humanity ever wanted something to look towards, to move towards, it should be the world Gene Roddenberry envisioned.
Second would be the Star Wars universe. I mean, come on, who wouldn't want to visit there? Jedi, Sith, and space pirates? I would adore it, I think.
Third, perhaps obviously, is the world of His Dark Materials. Yes, because of the daemons. It's a concept that fascinates me; the idea of having your soul represented a sentient animal who remains ever faithfully at your side. It would be interesting to see what sort of animal I ended up.

Anyways, cheerio!
