Prompt was fromsylvanelfqueen: Steve/Danny; lazy sunday mornings.
These are the best days.
The days where even the criminals are quiet; where the team breaks into it's component parts to re-group, and rest, and remember. Sundays are family days, and occasionally Grace-days, but Danny doesn’t have her today.
Instead he spends the morning in bed, sprawled lazily over Steve, head resting over his heart to listen, to know that he’s still here, still safe. Still Danny’s.
It’s a lazy morning; one full of wandering hands, and gentle, absent circles traced over skin, and Danny kisses Steve awake, soft and sweet, and tender. He loves this, them; here together.
