Ultrasounds and Instarec!

siehnI went with my sister to her ultrasound today.
I got to see my new niece. It was...It was amazing. We saw her face really clearly, and hands, and feet, and that she's a girl.
We saw her heart beating. Her actual heart. Beating. She was making faces at us. Sticking out her tongue, and sucking on her wrist. We saw her spine.
It was beautiful. She's due in May.
As for the rec, I just read Spaces Between which is all kinds of amazing. It's a Sherlock fic set after Sherlock comes back. It's got a slow-build that is just beautifully-written, and it felt very real to me.
Y'all should check it out 'cause it's awesome.
