I really want one that like pairs authors, and artists, and mixers right at the beginning, and they work together over however-long to create the piece. Like an actual collaboration, full-stop.

I just think it would be amazing to work through all parts of the creative process with the people who are making things for the story you are writing. I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy?

I mean. I'm definitely crazy, but argh I don't know! I just want it.

(if this already exists, I have not found it)

Also, DOES THERE EXIST A SHERLOCK BIG BANG?

Because I want one. I don't need one, but I WANTS IT, OKAY?

Or like. A Sherlock fic exchange? I WOULD SO BE ON THAT.

Thoughts? Ideas? TALK TO ME I'M BORED.

Okay now I'm being a stalker because I was trying to figure out - TX, meaning, Texas? (Is that where you are? I'm in Boston, so you're not like. Randomly a classmate of mine that I don't know, right? ALTHOUGH THAT WOULD NOT SURPRISE ME - not about you but in general, haha. :D)

I am a big collaborator as an artist (in the general sense of the word, not specific to visual art) perhaps because I mostly co-write and work in theatre and stufffff, and I think this idea is amaaaaazing. I tried to do Big Bang Mix-Up and it was like...not a great success for other reasons like my having life issues and needing to GRADUATE and stuff, but. I'm sure I'd have done better if the other two people had been involved the whole time through, you know? IDK. I play work best with others! Usually. ANYWAY not to be sketch, just thought I'd say YES, for sure this is awesome. Now I'm leaving your journal. /end creeping

Lol no worries. x3 Yeah, Texas. I've lived here most of my life, 'cept for a few years spent in New York, and Seattle, and a summer in Maine. haha.

lol FEEL FREE TO STALK MY JOURNAL AND TALK TO MEE. I DON'T MIND. x3 /shameless.

And yeah, I just. I really want a challenge where all parts of the collaborative process work together from the beginning. I think it would go better, and you'd have ALL THIS FEEDBACK/WORKING TOGETHERNESS and it would BE AWESOME. On the art end of things, I like to get the writer's opinion on if I'm drawing/portraying the characters how they see them in the scene in their head, and y'know, if the scene is how they see it in their head, and as a writer, I'd like to work with the artist for the opposite of that. To get everything as close to what it's supposed to be as possible? Does that make any sense? Idk, I just really like the idea.

OBV. I mean it's so weird to me the non-collaborative way because MOST of the stuff we - at least, my corner of LJ - fool around with the most in fandom...is not created in a void by one person????? And I guess I mean sometimes it's not by design; it just happens that way that some fanwork spawns more fanwork and that's different than when you sit down in a room and bang something out together from the start but like... you know, it's like having built-in very invested betas and brainstormers and... I JUST REALLY LIKE COLLABORATION HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

YES THIS. All of it.

Just, the whole idea of it. Of working together at the start, and producing ALL THIS STUFF THAT IS INTERCONNECTED IN THE BEST WAY. ugh. I just want to create a place FOR ALL THE COLLABORATIONS. But IDK. There are already so many big bang challenges, and whatnot.
